Paul serves Consumer Product Strategy professionals. As one of Forrester's leading analysts on consumer technology adoption and usage, his research and client engagement focuses on how companies can build strategies to bring new consumer technology to market or successfully exploit new technology and services developed by other firms. During his seven years at Forrester, Paul has driven both short-term immediate research needs, using Forrester's Consumer Technographics® data, and long-term strategic research around big ideas like the digital home, the tipping point online, and the evolution of the home PC.His current research agenda includes topics like home networking, virtual worlds, videogaming, device convergence, and general technology adoption and usage trends in Europe. Additionally, given the increasingly seamless transition between devices, online services, media, and communications, Paul works closely with Forrester analysts covering strategies for Social Computing, media, and consumer telecoms.Paul has been widely quoted in the press, including such media outlets as The Economist, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the BBC. An accomplished public speaker, Paul has also delivered speeches at many events, including Forrester's European Consumer Forum, US Consumer Forum, and European IT Leadership Forum.
Paul has extensive experience in developing technology strategies for leading consumer-facing firms and the vendors that work with them. Prior to joining Forrester, Paul was a "digital guru" at a full-service advertising agency (HHCL) and before that had seven years of strategic technology consulting experience with management consultants Deloitte Consulting and system integrator LogicaCMG.
Paul has a degree in computing science from Aston University, Birmingham, UK.
